Job Summary

Assist in the hands-on manufacturing process by setting up, operating, monitoring of the process, and maintaining production equipment. Ensures products meet quality standards while maintaining safety and efficiency on the production floor. This role helps maintain efficient production operations and supports continuous improvement efforts from early prototyping through full-rate production. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment and production lines
  • Perform equipment setup, calibration, and adjustments
  • Conduct routine equipment maintenance and cleaning
  • Record production data, logs, reports and maintain accurate documentation
  • Work with engineers and supervisors to improve production processes
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Assist with testing and quality control procedures
  • Follow safety procedures and company manufacturing policies
  • Operate in accordance with AS9100 and ISO9001
  • Assemble/install mechanical, electromechanical, wiring harnesses, etc. in a fast-paced environment 
  • May involve shift work, overtime or weekend work
  • Able to perform in a manufacturing, production or lab environment
  • Perform other duties as required
Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED (associate degree or technical certification preferred)
  • Experience in manufacturing, production, or technical environments
  • Mechanical aptitude, basic troubleshooting skills and tool/equipment use
  • Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams and engineering drawings 
  • Capable of executing verbal and written instructions
  • Basic computer skills for production systems and documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge/experience with FOD Prevention, ESD Control, Material Handling and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Must be U.S.Citizen.
 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as assembly, machining, or electronics production
  • Familiarity with quality control systems and safety regulations
  • Technical certification or associate degree in manufacturing, engineering technology or related fields
Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs 
  • Ability to execute repetitive motions, bend, twist etc. 
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with noise and machinery
